This is a personal, unfunded project based on my own experience and opinions. I created this site to simplify the process of migrating to European software alternatives. The recommendations reflect my personal research and are not influenced by any commercial interests. This is a learning project and continuous work in progress.
The Mission
Help individuals and businesses discover privacy-first, European alternatives to popular US-based software. Our goal is to promote digital sovereignty and support the European tech ecosystem.
Hosting & Privacy
This site is hosted on Hetzner Cloud in Germany (EU). No user data is stored on servers. All selections and preferences are kept locally in your browser.
Open Source
This project is open source and contributions are welcome.

The database of EU alternatives is maintained in part by a weekly AI agent. It researches new European software alternatives, maps them to the US tools they can replace, and reviews the status of currently listed entries. All changes land in the project repository where they can be inspected in the commit history.
